Robert Herceg

Robert Herceg is a Business Development Manager for the MNC sales team. He has been with Telstra International for ten years, having fulfilled a variety of roles, predominantly focusing on solution consultancy and sales.

On a day-to-day basis, Robert will develop strategic solutions and proposals that address his clients’ needs. Ensuring that his clients receive the best possible service is crucially important to him.

A large part of Robert’s role focuses on developing internal relationships with all solution stakeholders, such as pricing, legal, technical, service and project management. This enables him to service his clients and build stronger relationships with them.

Robert is instrumental in growing Telstra International’s existing MNC customer base (EMEA region) and expanding their presence into core strategic areas around APAC.

Key to his role is the development of Telstra corporate customers and moving their businesses with Telstra Internationally in core economic growth areas. Since Telstra International has a presence in many of these key strategic regions, MNC customers are choosing Telstra to introduce them to a wider customer base.

Robert describes himself as “meticulous” when it comes to planning as he doesn’t like surprises! He has a weekly and daily plan, which guides him and helps to prioritise his actions and responsibilities. He spends most of my time with clients, on site, and on international conference calls with global Telstra staff who help to support and grow his client base.

Robert says that the best thing about his role is his customers, and working with the people that make them happy. He believes that the industry is very dynamic, and he therefore appreciates being able to learn something new everyday. He also feels he is well suited to a role on the sales team because he is naturally very talkative!
