Mulbourn Limited chooses Telstra to support ambitious revenue targets

Leisure company extends network connectivity deal with Telstra International to include all voice services
LONDON, 27 MAY 2009: Mulbourn Limited, the hotel company with 19 premier hotels across the UK, has chosen Telstra International to support its group communications and connectivity needs over the next three years until 2012.
Under the agreement, Telstra International will provide wide area network (WAN) connectivity between the hotels’ and the company’s headquarters in Swindon, as well as hosting the company’s servers in one of its secure data centres. By outsourcing network connectivity and server hosting to Telstra International, the hotels within the group are able to share information securely and quickly between their sites and improve access to central services such as reservation and customer relationship management (CRM) systems which are crucial to the success of the business.
In addition to its connectivity and server hosting, Mulbourn has also outsourced the entirety of its voice communications to Telstra International. “This new agreement is a direct result of the trust and strong relationship built between Telstra International and Folio Hotels over the last 4 years, prior to Mulbourn Limited being formed as its parent,” commented Simon Vye, CEO, Telstra International EMEA. “As Mulbourn faces a challenging economic climate, we have worked to ensure that our partnership will underpin the company’s long-term success, allowing services to scale as required when the group adds to its portfolio.”
By outsourcing its voice communications, network connectivity and server hosting to Telstra International, Mulbourn will benefit from the inherent cost savings, continuity and business productivity which stem from dealing with one expert global telecommunications partner. Mulbourn Limited is forecasting a turnover of £48 million in its first year of trading.
