Telstra International Signs Multi-Year Outsourcing Deal with Pertama Group Trading as Harvey Norman in Singapore and Malaysia

Telstra International in Singapore (through Telstra Singapore Pte Ltd) has signed a multi-year, outsourcing contract with Pertama Merchandising Pte Ltd.

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Pertama Holdings Limited and trading as Harvey Norman in Singapore and Malaysia.

Under the contract, Telstra International will provide comprehensive managed outsourced IT services by way of server hosting and management, ERP application management and maintenance, operations management, technical support and service desk support, to more than twenty Harvey Norman retail stores and offices across Singapore and Malaysia.

Key benefits to Pertama will include a simplified and consolidated operating environment, where server hardware is supported in one of the global Telstra International data centres and ERP applications are managed using industry recognised ITIL processes. Users will also benefit from having a 24x7 service desk via a single number for onsite and remote support.

By hosting its IT infrastructure at one of the Telstra International data centre locations, Pertama will receive round-the-clock technical support, critical for continued business and growth of the company. Telstra International will also be helping Pertama streamline its ERP application including data reconciliation and backup, as well as providing a new development and testing platform. This will ensure that future roll-outs of new systems and modifications will be smoother and more stable.
